A Platinum & Class Elegance Award at Cavallino Classic 2026

DK Engineering are delighted to announce that the Ferrari 340 America, fully restored by our team, has returned from the Cavallino Classic with both a Platinum Award and a Class Elegance Award.

With 2026 now in full swing, DK Engineering have already attended two major international events: Salon Rétromobile and the Cavallino Classic. The first, held in Paris, offered an opportunity to reconnect with the industry at what is the inaugural event of the calendar year. The second, the Cavallino Classic in Florida, is a marque?specific concours celebrating all things Ferrari. Jordan, Freddie and Simon represented DK Engineering at Cavallino, overseeing the exquisite presentation of two significant cars, both fully restored by DK Engineering: the 340 America that brought us great joy at Pebble Beach in 2025, and a 288 GTO.

Judging took place on the fairway of The Boca Raton golf course, with the 340 America first to be inspected. Fully restored by DK Engineering, the ex-Eddie Hall 340 was returned over a two?year period to its original 1951 24 Hours of Le Mans specification. In August 2025, at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the little Barchetta received one of four Elegance Awards, specifically for the most elegant open car, a highlight of last year for both DK Engineering and the car’s passionate custodial family. The 340 was once again supported by two family members at Cavallino, both second generation, and therefore wonderful to see.

A rosette carefully positioned on a windscreen is always a charming sight, and we are delighted to say that the 340 once again left an impression worthy of recognition, earning both a Platinum Award and a Class Elegance Award.
