NavTrak is a sophisticated 'black box' fitted to a vehicle to provide complete security. Using satellite positioning (GPS) and mobile phone technology (GSM) NavTrak can pinpoint the exact location of a vehicle at any time.
NavTrak is the only system that recognizes the authorised driver. This is done by means of a unique Automatic Driver Recognition Card (ADR). Even if a thief has the keys, unless the system can detect the ADR card a silent alert is sent to the NavTrak control centre. This immediately initiates tracking of the vehicle whereupon NavTrak contact the owner to confirm the theft. NavTrak then work with the Police to return the car as soon as possible, fully valeted. NavTrak can locate and track a vehicle if it is stolen and taken abroad to a country which has adopted GSM.
NavTrak is now installed on new cars by several manufacturers including Ferrari UK.
