Due to new government regulations, it is no longer possible to import
vehicles which are less than 10 years old for personal import from the United
States.
To road register a vehicle now it must pass the Single Vehicle Approval
(SVA) test; the same test that kit cars must pass in order to be road registered.
DKengineering successfully processed the first Hummer in the country to
pass the test. This involved extensive modifications to both the interior
and the exterior of the Hummer, whilst maintaining the character of the
vehicle. DKengineering have modified further Hummers and successfully acquired
the necessary SVA test certificates so can now guarantee to import brand
new or young Hummers and gain road registration for them. |
